- Add a Link to an existing page, selecting a sensible article name
- Click the red link you just made to start the new page
- Write the Introduction
- Add an image if you have one
- Add links liberally, but not willy-nilly
- Write the article, adding references as you go
- Add See also, External links, and References sections
- If it’s a stub, add {{stub}}
- Add it to at least one [[Category:Example]]
- Add #REDIRECT pages for the new article
- Search the wiki and link from related articles
