I am a consulting geologist in Tulsa, primarily doing various editorial work for AAPG. My academic credentials are B.S. Geology, B.A. Biology Syracuse University 1975 and M.S. Geology Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, 1977. I have worked in many aspects of the industry: development, exploration, log digitization, and seismic modeling and synthetics.
I have been adding links to articles, linking to other pages we seeded the wiki with, and adding links (red) to things we need articles about. I have written a few stubs which need to be expanded. I have also put together some pages of links to further information; these pages will be replaced with actual articles in time.

At some point, someone needs to go through and link every age (Cambrian, Llandoverian, etc.) to the appropriate place on this website: http://www.stratigraphy.org/bak/geowhen/geolist.html It may be that some time periods will merit a page of their own, and that would supersede the above. I made one for Tertiary, because it is now obsolete. I also made one for Carboniferous terminology.
