AAPG will use your username to identify your contributions to AAPG Wiki.

Contributors also agree that AAPG may use their e-mail address to communicate with them about contributed material. On some occasions, contributor e-mail addresses may be shared with moderators associated with the edited page, in case there is a need for clarification on the suggested edits.

When making an edit or creating a new page on AAPG Wiki, contributors agree to these uses of contact information.

AAPG automatically receives and records information on its server logs from a user’s browser, including the user’s IP address, page information about the pages the user accesses, and information about the Digital Files the user downloads, for the purposes of tracking usage volume, diagnosing access issues or problems with the wiki server, and to administer the website.

Cookies are utilized on AAPG Wiki to identify you and your preferences during your online session. If you deny cookies from AAPG Wiki, you will still be able to read content on these pages, but you will not be able to log in or edit or create articles.

AAPG does not rent, sell, or share information about the user with any organization with the following exceptions: (a) AAPG will respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process or to establish or exercise its rights or to defend against claims and (b) when AAPG determines in its sole discretion that it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected illegal activities, suspected fraud, suspected violations of these Terms and Conditions, or otherwise as required by law.

• allow non-members to view personal information, such as an address or phone number
• sell or rent your e-mail information to third parties
