Two examples of wells that produce from the Mancos Shale. The main completion target is an interval of the Upper Mancos that is sometimes referred to as Niobrara, El Vado and even Gallup. In both cases, note that Mancos production from these vertical wells is comingled with production from the underlying Dakota Sandstone. Modified from Hart (2021).
