Geosteering

The action of developing adjustments in the well profile by using field observations to place the wellbore in the designated target is called Geosteering. Geosteering can use a large variety of tools and techniques, including logging while drilling (LWD), drilling parameters, biostratigraphy, heavy minerals, and cuttings.
