Governance

Governance is defined as the people and processes that ensure AAPG Wiki meets its goals. The governance model is high level, and doesn't change very often.

More detailed Governance is defined through the following three areas:

• Moderation - moderation approaches and processes
• Users - who are the moderators and who are the readers?

Governance guidelines

• Use everyday language
• Ensure clarity in language, so no room for misinterpretation
• One message, one protocol among moderators
• Be adaptable - allow for evolving governance based on learning from patterns of use, emerging needs, etc.
• Avoid legalistic language
• Avoid complexity or obscurity
• Avoid long cycle times
